GOD HOLDS ALL THINGS PDF Print

“And they replied, ‘We both had dreams last night, but no one can tell us what they mean.’  ‘Interpreting dreams is God’s business,’ Joseph replied.  ‘Go ahead and tell me your dreams.’”   Genesis 40:8 (NLT)

This Spirit-led act of mercy started a chain of events that resulted in Joseph being lifted up to a position greater than all in Egypt – save Pharaoh.  As he interpreted the cupbearer’s dream, he would do the same for the great Pharaoh.

“Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they quickly brought him out of the pit.  And when he had shaved himself and changed his clothes, he came in before Pharaoh.”  Genesis 41:14 (ESV)

Just a reminder that no obstacle is to great for our God – nor do they take Him by surprise.  On the contrary, He uses them for His glory!  Look at Joseph . . . One day he’s in the pit the next the palace.

One day we may feel broken but the next day God brings victory.

One day we’re hopelessly lost – the next we’re gloriously found.

God has not forgotten you!  Especially those who are the sheep of His pasture.

“And Pharaoh said to Joseph, ‘See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.’”  Genesis 41:41 (ESV)

A prisoner one day – in charge of the kingdom the next!

Never forget that God holds all things – and that means you – in the hollow of His hand!
